How to
improve your video..
How do I make sure my
video is level?
-
A good way is to set your
helmet down flat on the ground and rotate the micro-camera inside the
mount until the video picture is level with the horizon.
-
It's very common to position
the base too far forward on the helmet the first time, different applications
require the mount be attached at different angles on a helmet. For
example, bicyclists’ record in a leaning forward position and need the
camera positioned further back than you would first guess.
What is the best way to
position my mic(s)?
-
Run mic cables under straps,
through D-rings - make it more a “part” of your pack. Avoid pointing mic
directly into the wind or near material that may rub - low on the shoulder
straps (pointed down) works best for most activities.
-
If you notice you're
overpowering the audio (i.e. when yelling) - try positioning them farther
away from your mouth, but still pointed away from the wind, the next time
you make a similar recording
Does the Micro-Camera
require any special maintenance?
-
Mainly we warn not to
disassemble the Micro-Camera. All of our Micro-Cameras are sealed in a
vacuum - unscrewing the cap will break the airtight seal and may lead to
fogging.
-
Check you Micro-Camera for
fingerprints/dust/dirt before every use. Use water or glass cleaner with a
soft non-abrasive cloth.
-
Try not to look in the
direction of the sun this will cause the video image will temporarily
"white out."
What do you mean by "water
and moister resistant"?
-
All of our Micro-Cameras are
water-proof, the rest of the system was designed for some moisture
tolerance - not for submersion. Also please keep in mind mics have very
little water tolerance if caught in the rain, place mic in plastic and
seal with a rubber-band or zip-ties - you could also seal them in the CIP
for maximum protection.
What do you mean by
"crashable"?
Where is the best place to
put the cables and battery pack while using your products?
-
To keep cables from flapping
around push any extra cabling into your pack before setting out.
-
If not concerned with dust or
moisture don't close the roll top of the CIP and place the battery
somewhere else in the pack. This will also allow for quick disconnection,
helping to conserve battery life.
-
In wet, dusty or extreme cold
conditions, put battery pack in lower right corner of CIP and close the
role top (cables coming out of the rolled top).

Why does nothing appear under "Hot Deals" and/or "Featured Clip."?
-
Your firewall may be mistaking our images for banner ads. Some
firewalls assume any image in a table is an ad, you will need to turn off
"ad blocking" while using our site. If you need help in doing this, please
contact the tech support for your firewall. This firewall feature will
block images on many web pages, for best viewing it is suggested you
disable it while viewing sites you trust.
Why don't some of the links work (i.e. "featured clip" or "free

Click on the "Advanced" tab and make sure you have the box for "Use

Why isn't the video playing in the pop-up?
-
You may have a slow connection. Our videos have a ton of action, in
order to give you acceptable quality we went with somewhat larger file

Why aren't the links for your videos on Kazaa working?
-
You may have to manually allow "QuickLinks" within Kazaa.
Open the K-Sig program (you can access this by the "Programs" drop down in
Kazaa). In the K-Sig "File" menu, choose "Settings" and make sure
"Associate with QuickLinks" is checked, as well as "Send QuickLinks
directly to Kazaa." Please Note: In most cases if you click the link
while Kazaa is running, you may have to close and re-open it to see the
downloads.
