Water Package

When we set out to design our Water Sports system over 4 years ago, we had four goals in mind: smaller, lighter, disconnectable external cables and most of all, only one panel mounted connector. Each drill point in a hard case is a potential point of failure. It’s also rather cumbersome to deal with three different cables. Micro-camera, Remote control and microphone.. all one single cable/connector only.

What we came up with is now in its third evolution and represents the smallest and most comfortable Water Sports Helmetcam system today. Use the included neoprene hip belt with your PFD or attach to your boat or kayak. Our hard case is so small it will also easily fit in most backpacks, protecting your camcorder in any environmental conditions. this is also a very popular configuration for broadcast and video production use and is seen on many reality shows today.

This is a completely Pro Grade system so it includes the finest micro-camera available today: special Perplex anti-shatter lens with optical anti-scratch coating, vacuum sealed for anti-fogging and has a waterproof quick-disconnect for easy removal. Both the high gain microphone and (optional) Lanc remote are fully submergible as well. Since all water sports systems are, by definition, custom made.. we are able to include a 4th Generation cable harness with this system that runs all wires though a single panel mounted connector and only one cable up your back. This is as advanced as it gets in water sports helmet camera systems today.

This little marvel of technology is hands-down our favorite Helmet Cam accessory. It will turn your camcorder on/off, start record/stop record and let you know when you have run out of tape or camcorder battery life. If that weren't enough, it's also extremely easy to use and can be positioned just about anywhere on your body. The end result is this remote extends your battery and tape by allowing you to only record the moments you want - and saves on video editing time.
