Our 2009 model 580i micro-camera is our flagship product. Simply the best of everything and the highest performing fully submergible micro-camera we make. This cam is ideally suited to use on the outside of a helmet and is easily our most popular cam for motorcyclists.

550L Color Micro-Camera (19mm)

Slightly smaller & liter in weight than our 580i (44gr vs. 68gr / 19mm vs. 21mm) we recommend you consider our 520SL micro-camera in any application where weight/size of cam is a factor – yet still need the highest video quality possible. This cam sits between our 580i and 520 chapstick cam in size, weight and performance. The civilian version of the cam we designed for the US Military, our 550L is ideally suited for aviation, watersports, helmet, headband, ball cap use.. or any application a bit more inherent vibration suppression is required.

550L-IR Color Micro-Camera LowLite (19mm)

Engineered specifically for the US Military, the 550L-IR is our low light model of our 550 series cam. Super small, practically weightless at only 45gr and can see near infra-red frequencies. This means if you have an external IR illuminator, this is a true 0 Lux micro-camera and can see in complete darkness. Other than military, this cam is also ideally suited for video record collection applications such as construction/inspection or robotics.

520SL Color Micro-Camera (16mm a.k.a. chapstick)

The worlds smallest hi-resolution CCD micro-camera - our 520SL “Chapstick” micro-camera is simply a marvel of engineering. At just 20gr and only 16mm in diameter, it is small/lite enough to mount on a rigged eyeglass arm. If you need it small or ultra-light weight this is the cam for you. Ideally suited for ball cap, alternate headgear mounting, high vibration applications or any time you need the smallest hi-resolution cam possible. Daylight performance is comparable to our other larger cams but the low light performance can be noticeably less. Simply superb for family/travel when used on a ball cap and due to the tiny frontal area also works particularly well on the outside of aircraft, race cars, etc. - when a small frontal area is preferred.

520SL-IR Color Micro-Camera Low Light (16mm a.k.a. chapstick)

This is the Military/LE version of our 520SL (above) and adds the ability to see in the near infra-red spectrum – making it a true 0 lux cam when used with an external IR illuminator. This cam is also specifically tuned to increase low light performance even when no illuminator is used. Easily our favorite choice for Law Enforcement use.

420 Line Color Micro-Camera PAL (19mm) *PAL ONLY

Using the same 19mm tube developed for the 550L (above), our 420 bridges the gap between genuine Pro Level ruggedness, size, weight and easy of use.. but at a more affordable price. This micro-camera is a superb choice for “occasional use” enthusiasts, home/family or anyone needing the lowest cost possible without giving up audio and ease of use performance.

580 Vari-Zoom Color Micro-Camera Standard (25mm)

Superb for racing, aviation or any (inside) vehicle mount application where environmental protection of the cam is not a concern. Mount virtually anywhere in the vehicle cabin and dial in the amount of zoom you want. Note: we consider all Vari-zoom cams to be slightly too large for headgear mounting – with the possible exception of aviation. If you choose to do it anyway...this standard model Vari-zoom is a bit lighter/smaller than the waterproof model. Best for high vibration applications where water/dust proof performance is not needed (e.g. inside of cabin).

Our waterproof Vari-zoom cam model is available for immediate shipping. Multiple O-ring design and only slightly heavier than our standard model Vari-zoom. Our favorite cam for vehicles operating in wet/dusty environments. Offering 4-9mm variable zoom setting, you can ideally set the FOV you need for any vehicle installation.

550 Flat Box Color Micro-Camera  (NTSC)

Specifically designed for shoulder / back-pack mounting (tradeshows, conventions, etc.) though also works very well when needing Xtreme Recall performance in a flat shaped camera housing. Unlike most models, this is an all metal housing and ruggedized for vibration. Not waterproof, but very discreet with a non-camera appearance and pin-hole lens. Also works well for filming the inside of a vehicle cabin or other small enclosed space. All black, but can be painted to match surface.

420 Eyeglass Color Camera  (NTSC)

Unlike our competitors' models, Xtreme Recall’s eyeglass cam uses a high resolution Sony CCD (not CMOS) and offers a 5-12v power band. This is the most convenient and discreet option possible in wearable video. While this camera does not have the same resolution or the waterproofing of our larger cameras its ultra low profile more than makes up for it. Fully compatible and plug-n-play with the rest of our unique platform of parts and accessories.
