Right Angle 10pin Adapter Cable

This is what you need to make "the other guys" work with our right angle 10pin. Since we don't know what system you have, make sure to choose the exact connectors you will need. Look at your helmet cam setup, if you only use one microphone on your system then you want only 2 RCA connectors (audio/video). If you order 3 RCA connectors in this configuration, you will end up with a bulkier adapter cable yet only one speaker having audio during playback. When you order only 2 RCA connectors we will merge your left/right audio together in the adapter so we will fill both speakers with sound automatically. Only order an adapter cable with 3 RCAs  if you are using a dual microphone setup, or otherwise have a unique requirement you know needs independent audio channels.

Some points to make note of:

• This is not a “hack” job product. Each is manufactured, by hand, from an original raw OEM connector. Production time can be up to 1 week.

• Instead of RCA’s, this 10pin adapter can also be supplied to terminate to male/female 3.5mm or any combination of RCA connectors. Please make sure you are ordering the correct style.

• Due to component availability, we can not guarantee specific colors for the RCA connector moldings.

• Total adapter lengths vary, but usually fall around 1 foot. For an additional $15 charge we can custom make the cable anywhere from 6 inches to 3 feet, please note your preferred length in the cart and the additional charge will be added when shipped.

• The orientation of the right-angle 10pin is specific to your camcorder model. One reason we still hand make these adapters is it allows us to ideally configure to your particular camcorder model. Make sure to list your Sony model when ordering, if not listed the connector may end up blocking another port (i.e. your LANc remote port).

LANC through the 10pin Adapter Cable

Have you bought a new Sony camcorder and found out your LANC remote no longer works? Not to worry, Xtreme Recall has the cable you need. This brand new adapter has a right angle Sony 10pin on one end and a female 2.5mm on the other, just plug in your LANC remote and you can control your camcorder again. Standard length is 12 inches and available in any direction you desire, Right angle; left, right, up, down or straight

Our exclusive LANC through the 10pin Sony adapter cable is also available with A/V output(s) (additional charges apply). Another XR exclusive, this adapter cable will allow remote viewing as well as control of the camcorder. You can watch video through a secondary screen or watch full signal (a/v) remotely. Standard length is 12 inches with a right angle Sony 10pin terminating to a female 2.5mm; optional RCA (video) plug is male unless you request otherwise.

Micro-Camera Extension Cable (4.5ft)

Used for extending the distance between an Xtreme Recall 3rd Generation micro-camera and your recorder. Particularly useful when mounting our micro-camera to your windshield - while storing the recorder in the rear of the vehicle. Great for large SUV’s, RV’s, boats or any time you want the camera a considerable distance from the recorder.

Dual Mic Cable Harness

Using a proprietary 3rd Generation design, our cable harness is 50% lighter in weight than our competitors' designs, significantly more rugged, less bulky and infinitely easier to use. True 3^rd Gen design means there are only three connectors, period. A second single mic cable harness is often a good thing to have as either a back-up replacement (in case you damage your primary mic/harness) or if you want to have two different carriers ready to go at a moments notice.

Double backed Velcro cable tie - helps you manage any extra (unused) cabling.

 

Cable Keeper  (set of 2)

Adhesive backed, attaches to the rear of your helmet to insure the micro-camera cable runs down the center of your back. This is key to not having any sense of wearing the micro-camera on your helmet (eliminates “cable drag”).
